There are more than 54,000 EMS members at over 1,500 companies in Pennsylvania. Collectively, these First Responders, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics respond to over 1.7 million emergency calls each year. Emergency medical technicians, paramedics and first responders save countless lives every day. There are many people who are still alive because of the quick response of trained EMS professionals who are able to administer medical attention on the spot to victims who may not have a moment to lose. Seneca Area Emergency Services welcomes new members. It's easy to volunteer with Seneca Area Emergency Services. The process is detailed in Seneca's Recruit Manual. To start the process, print a copy of Seneca's Application for Membership / Employment in pdf format or MS Word format. Submit the completed form to apply for volunteer membership. The form can also be used to apply for employment. Seneca's BLS Performance Evaluation form (MS Word format) is used to evaluate a candidate's readiness to advance out of training status.
